March has brought a vibrant energy with it and an air that makes me giddy with expectancy. I don't know what's coming my way, but I am excited about it! Even if some March challenges come creeping, I can honestly say, I am ready to face them. I know I'll come out on the other side tougher. I know the pressures of life so far have only produced diamonds in the rough, and I don't bat an eye at the chance to become mentally and emotionally richer from life's lessons.
This month features a 31-day writing project called March Forward. Each day, I will use what assists me most to March Forward through life, scripture, as the prompt for my writing. I have compiled a list of scriptures that motivate, nourish and sustain dear friends and family, and I have added a few of my own, and I will present you all daily with some written content inspired by the scripture of the day. I am super excited to see what this brings forth. I know that God will certainly be in the midst and bless work that is born from the Word. Alright, Let's get started!
Matthew 5:5 | The Message (MSG)
“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought."
If only you knew what I've given you.
If only you understood that there is no cost for the robe of life
I have uniquely fashioned for you.
You can't recreate the hue of your aura or the glisten of your spirit.
They are complexly crafted, composed with precise measures of different forms of my love. You can't transcribe the words laden within your smile.
It carries transcendent power that connects directly to susceptive souls.
You can't buy a custom rhythm for your pulse.
Your heart's drumbeat has been fine tuned and aligned with a divine metronome.
Even as it blends with the melodies floating in the world around it,
it is still distinct and clear.
Listen to it.
Listen to you.
Your voice untainted and rawholds so much power
if you trust it,
it holds your success,
your joy in its most simple and easy to grasp form.
Be sure to grab hold of every intricate detail of who you are.
Don't let any slips through the cracks or become muddled with the voices of bold timbres that crash in and threaten to wash you away.
Your details carry too much value to be lost.
Every fiber I've used to knit you together has immense potential
so much so that you could never calculate their worth.
That is why I hope so fervently that you would accept you.
That you would be pleased with all that you are.
I beam with pride at my design.
I know it is marvelous and like nothing else I have ever made.
I know there is not a thing I would change about it.
I know that once the mirror reflects back to you what I see
You would hold fiercely the contentment in your spirit
that stems from knowing how much I celebrate you my beautiful creation.
